Method
How to read these numbers
Prices are normalised to mint, carded condition before being compared, so a loose copy selling for RM 12 and a sealed one selling for RM 45 can inform the same median without distorting it. Outliers — a mistyped extra zero, a friend-price giveaway — are dropped using a median-absolute-deviation filter that the outlier itself can’t skew. Nothing here is an appraisal, and Castbase will tell you when a figure rests on thin data rather than dressing it up.
